Showing the best ways, imo, of getting 99 fishing.
Some people may say different but its the way i would suggest because its proberly got people to talk to in these spots, and is more likley to keep you entertained.

RuneScape 99 Fishing Guide – Rocktail & Cavefish (With Exp/cash Rates)

I have been meaning to upload this video for a while, thanks to Kamsa T-

This video shows the best way to get 99 fishing (in my opinion) – to get great experience and a ton of money!

——–CAVEFISH——–
Requires level 85 fishing
Equipment – Normal fishing rod & bait
(my fishing level is too high to accurately measure xp/cash per hour for cavefish, please leave a comment if you have around 85 fishing and know the rates, thanks!)

——–ROCKTAIL——–
Requires level 90 fishing
Equipment – Normal fishing rod & living minerals as bait
Fishing XP – 40-50k per hour
Cash Gain – 330-340k per hour

——–SUMMONING FAMILIARS——–
These are explained in the video: The Granite Lobster is most recommended

——–COMPARE——–
It is important to compare this fishing spot to other places:

This is my rough XP guide:
Rocktail (in this guide) – 40-50k XP Per Hour
Barbarian Heavy rod fishing – 40-55k XP Per Hour
Barbarian Village (dropping) – 45K XP Per Hour
Shilo Village (banking) – 46K XP Per Hour

I found cavefish and rocktail to be one of the best XP rates in the game, and the cash gain makes them the best option for me

Shrimp 1-15
anchovies 15-30
Fly Fishing 30-62,30-40,30-76, or 30-99
Lobsters 40-62, 40-76, or 40-99
Monk Fish 62-99 or 62-76 (must do swan song quest)
Sharks 76-99 or after getting 99

1-99 Fishing Guide. By Georgepresti

This is a guide for levels 1 to 99 fishing. Hope it helps.

1-5: shrimps. Note that at the al-kihard fishing spots scorpions attack from time to time. If you are a skiller be aware of this.

5-10: Sardine.

10-20: Herring.

20-40 or until 99: Trout and Salmon.
To fish trout and salmon at shilo village, you must complete the quest “Shilo Village”. If you choose to fish at barbarian village (recommended for f2p only) Cook the fish then drop them, or just drop.

40-62,76 or 99: Lobsters.
For lobster fishing, I recommend fishing lobsters at catherby until 63, then eating an admiral pie and entering the fishing guild. From there, fish until your preferred fishing level.

Levels 76-99: Sharks.
Only fish sharks to 99 if you want 100m, please realize that this will take 4 months or more. I only say to fish sharks if your short of cash.

Levels 62-99: monkfish.
To fish monkfish you need to complete the “Swan Song” quest. these monkfish are the most popular fish to do until 99. I highly recommend it!

Da White Cow’s guide to heavy rod (barbarian fishing). It is the fastest fishing experience in the game, and also gives you cooking and agility xp.
