Whats the best general method for fishing the River Avon near Ringwood?

I have recently purchased a 2nd home in RIngwood and am looking forward to fishing the River Avon and River Stour as I have never had the opportunity to catch Barbell or Chub before. Could some one give me some advice on best methods and locations. Thank you in advance.

if theres good chub and barbell in there acage feeder and groundbait and luncheon meat or halibut pellets on the hair rig.or try the hemp and caster approach.good luck.
