a lot of people say … a lot of people say that about rivers but i myself eat them from rivers and streams all the time they taste just as good and sometimes better then lake catfish
well actually if … well actually if you know what your doing with the drag you dont need heavy line. I use 15 pound test on my big poles for fish 10 lbes and over and 6 pound test on my ultralight for fish 10 lbs and under
Perch and drum are … Perch and drum are the same thing there technical term is white perch but people call them drum because of the croakins sound they make!
Used the trolling … Used the trolling motor to get to the sand bar…nice! I’ve fished that spot many times. It was a lot better when you could just drive back there. Have you ever floated from W-ton to Bloomfield? It’s a good way to kill a day and get sun burnt. 2 words…Rock Riffle.
looks like yall got … looks like yall got a nice river there ours is so polluted and full of trash the mud in the water tastes better then the fish…hate when people ruin great fishing areas

i hope you didn’t really eat those catfish. I wouldn’t recommend eating any fish out of the whit river.

i hauled in a 30 pounder in the wabash river it was a flat head catfish
