I have not been fishing long and am new to the area. I need somewhere to fish in a river near by. Have only fished still water up until now.

Find a local fishing club and join you will make lots of new friends and get lots of help. Tight lines

   Don’t forget your fishing licence. I’m sorry I dont know the area. The best thing to do, is get some venue advice from your local tackle shop. They will be able to tell you what s being caught from where. The River Derwent looks a likely place to start. Have fun.

   if i were you i would wait a little, because moving onto faster water when you have no experience can be difficult.
