Does anyone have any information on how to obtain a fishing guide license for river fishing?

Check out your state’s department of environmental conservation. Issuing license is something the government does.

Contact your local Fish and Game Association, or DFO organization. I have been a guide in Northwest BC for 3 years now. I took a pretty lengthy test on different species of fish and local wildlife.

Depends from area to area. Where are you from?
In Texas, you have to get a U.S. Coast guard approved Captain’s license in order to even think about getting a fishing guide license.
After that, you just pay the parks and wildlife $200 along with getting your own fishing license separate and your set.
