This reminds me of …
This reminds me of a 12 pound jack that I caught in a canal just up the way from where Capt. Chancey was fishing. I had to battle the thing for 20 minutes on light spinning gear and about 8 pound test. During the whole fight other Jacks were slamming the swim bait that was hanging out of the mouth of the jack. Pound for pound nothing outfights a jack. They are like bluefish on steriods. Simply awesome.

captain ben, what type of places are good to find schools of threadfin? is a boat always necessary? or can you find them close to shore, docks, piers, ect.?
