Where can i find a point system for a fishing tournament?

Posted by : admin

me and my friends are trying to get a point system for a self fishing tournament, could sombody point me in the direction of this information? thanks

You can do what my club does…you get 300 points for winning a tournament…subtract 5 points for every place after that…i.e. 2nd 295, 3rd 290, etc…if a person does not catch a fish, but participates in the tournament they get 75 points…we get 15 points for each club meeting we attend and for other events…the Top Six Anglers after our 12 monthly tournament get to fish the State Championship for the TBF (The Bass Federation which is a part of FLW)…I have been in clubs that allowed you to drop one or two of your lowest tournaments, or for not catching a fish you get half the points of the last place person that caught fish…i.e…last place had 200 points, then the people who did not catch fish get 100 points…hope this helps…
