What is the prize in the fishing tournament on Animal Crossing DS?

Because I’ve got this big fish that Nooks will pay $3000 for. So if the prize isn’t that good then i may as well sell the fish.

The person above is wrong >.< (you only get the golden fishing rod when you find ALL the fish).

If you win the fishing tournament, you will get a fish trophy attached to a letter the next day.
