2 Questions about fishing tournaments…?
In tournaments, can you choose your partners? And can someone give me a link to somewhere where it shows tournaments in South Carolina? Thanks.
If you are fishing a tournament with a boater and non boater format then you draw a partner. If you find some one that wants to fish a team trail then yes you can pick your partner and fish the entire tournament season with the same person. If you are looking to get started tournament fishing a club is a good place to start. If you want to go above that. Try some of the following!
American Bass Anglers (American Fishing tour)
http://www.americanbassanglers.com/dbn09.php (4 divisions in SC)
ABA/BASSMASTER weekend series (South Carolina Division)

Forrest L Wood tour (FLW)/ BFL (bass fishing league)

Team format tournaments

Their are several others but this will get you started! Good luck. Give me a shout on here if you have any more questions.

Jmay pretty much covered it. It all depends on the Tournaments. Most saltwater Stuff is set teams. I have to use the same partner for all my tournaments in the main series I fish. Alot of bass tourneys are set up to where you draw 4 partners though.

I’d say it depends on the rules of the tournament… I would sniff around a few bait shops.
