What are some good recreational fishing spots in Northern California?

Posted by : admin

Also I need some other details, such as fees and best times of the year to go.

lake tahoe, fallen leaf lake. collins lake, scotts flat reservoir, little grass
valley lake, sly creek reservoir any of the high sierra lakes, lake shasta.
type the names of any of these lakes in your search bar, they all have
their own web sites and it will give you everything you need to know
about each one. fees, what fish are in the lake, what to use, a map of
the lake. i go to collins lake its probably the best trout lake in central

calif. there stocking it every week now. feb to may are good times,
any thing after may and it can get really crowded on some of the lakes.
in calif the tree huggin conservation freeks filed an injuction to stop
the fish planting programs. so now no lake under 1000 acres will be
planted with trout because they are supposedly eating some little
frog that i’ve never seen anywhere. so a lot of lakes that were good last
year are not going to be any good until they start the plants back up.
