What and Where Fishing Spots around Seattle?

Posted by : admin

What are some good summer freshwater fishing spots about an hour from Seattle or Bellevue, WA?

Fish that we would like to catch:
Salmon
Trout
Catfish
Crappie
Bass

All answers are greatly appreciated.

Freshwater waters that I’ve fished (years ago for Salmon) be the Skokomish and Dungeness but, if you should ever have the oppurtunity ta’ vessel/boat yourself out to the high seas and want Chinook (King Salmon) ~ Straits of Jaun De Fuca be the place<);-3

Link may help ya’ out ie., has both rivers "Best months to fish by area" (top portion of page) and the Straits in it:

For the last four I suggest you head east in my opinion the waters around Seattle are 1 too polluted 2 too crowded and over fished….I suggest that you head to Grant’s County good fishin
