Does anybody know any good fishing spots near Tracy, California?

Posted by : admin

Just moved here and would like to know any fishing spots near or around Tracy, CA. Any good websites for maps, info, etc? Thank you.

Being in the Tracy area puts you within easy reach of some of Northern California’s best fishing. The Delta is great for starters. Add to that Lake Berryessa and Clear Lake for more tops in freshwater fishing. And you aren’t that far from the Benicia area to add stripers, sturgeon, etc. to your fun. Been there….done that! Lucky you. Have a ball!

Dude, you’re town is literally on the Delta, which is the best fishing around. It may be better where you’re from, but that’s the best around Northern California.

P.S. My condolences for living out in Tracy, it’s rough!

If you shore fish, you can do well at Clifton Court Forebay. Stripers and smallmouth bass are caught there. Anyway, the river has tons of fish. Berryessa is too far away and not as good as almost any place near you.
