Any one know of good fishing spots in Las Vegas NV?

I looking for good fishing spots in Las Vegas NV around Texas Station area. I don’t want to have to drive and hour to get to a good spot. I’m looking for one that will be less than 30 min away. If you have gone fishing there would you also tell me the best bait you have found to use there.

Lake Mead isn’t too far from Vegas I think…
