1-99 Fishing Guide. By Georgepresti
This is a guide for levels 1 to 99 fishing. Hope it helps.
1-5: shrimps. Note that at the al-kihard fishing spots scorpions attack from time to time. If you are a skiller be aware of this.
5-10: Sardine.
10-20: Herring.
20-40 or until 99: Trout and Salmon.
To fish trout and salmon at shilo village, you must complete the quest “Shilo Village”. If you choose to fish at barbarian village (recommended for f2p only) Cook the fish then drop them, or just drop.
40-62,76 or 99: Lobsters.
For lobster fishing, I recommend fishing lobsters at catherby until 63, then eating an admiral pie and entering the fishing guild. From there, fish until your preferred fishing level.
Levels 76-99: Sharks.
Only fish sharks to 99 if you want 100m, please realize that this will take 4 months or more. I only say to fish sharks if your short of cash.
Levels 62-99: monkfish.
To fish monkfish you need to complete the “Swan Song” quest. these monkfish are the most popular fish to do until 99. I highly recommend it!

its about 600 hours …
its about 600 hours from 76 – 99 and to all the idiots saying i play too much im just smart and when she said 150k/hr i calculated it and rounded up to 600 hours

what you should …
what you should really do for levels 1-20 is go to the one in port sarim, so u can make a meager profit out of the shrimp you catch and other small animals. if u cook them they will be worthless. then river fish in lumby for a while till 40. then start getting lobbies if u are f2p till 99

personaly i think …
personaly i think it is good up to haveing to fish sharks at level 76, bad idea as you said monks are best to do from level 76 – 96 as its fast exp and sharks from 96 +. and from level 45 i think i fished lobsters. any way this guuide helped me quite a bit, thanks
