can you tell me when bow fishing first started im doing a report for school.?

Im a jounir in High School and Im trying to get some information on bow fishing for a report. Like when and who got it started. any info. would help THANKS

i have a text book that actually talks about it, n it said around 1750’s by the natives of the amazon, they found illustrations on the walls from around that time

In this country , the native American Indians were the first to bow fish- it was a good method for supplying food for the tribe
In the area where I live, the water over flows out of the bayous almost every year- close to the bayous in the over flow area,you will find a lot of arrowheads that were used to shoot the spawning fish in the over flow water.

it started back with mangkas indians that is how they fished
