What are the fishing regulations at Legg lake in whittier narrows?

Posted by : admin

hey guys what kind of bait can be used in this lake? can i use power bait, night crawlers? is there any fees to pay to fish? Thank you!

No fees to fish except parking fees on weekends.

All baits you mentioned will work. There are bluegills, bass, carp, catfish and trout (when they stock them) in the lakes.

Poachers hit that place pretty hard so it will not be the easiest place to fish. Trout wouldn’t last too long there; most of them will be gone in 3 days. Catfish will last a little longer and I am pretty sure you could still find some "left overs" in the lakes. Bass population there isn’t too healthy but there are some huge bass in there; bass lucky enough to grow big in those lakes have seen A LOT of fishing pressure and they are not that easy to catch.

PS: You do need a fishing license to fish there.
