Anybody know the regulations in North America for fishing with a net?

Including Canada,USA Mexico,Central America.Anybody from those countries know the legality or permit costs for fishing with a small net, not a commericial size-but big enough to catch a haul of fish.I would like to learn how to fish this way-so where is it legal? I am talking salt water fishing.Please send along any info that might be helpful.

I’m from Wisconsin and the last time I checked you need a fishing license..lol. Check out this website… It will give you an idea of what you need.
