what are the best canoe fishing lakes in the adirondac mts of NY?

I’m going to the adirondacs in late august. someone tell me where the best bass, pike, and any other strong fish are. thank you for all responses

One of the best pike and bass lakes in upstate NY is Long Lake. Accessable by boat and canoe, it has many islands with rocky shorelines for bass, and submerged weedbeds that hold some trophy-sized northerns.

    Lake massiwepie is good. It is at a boy scout camp, but you can fish there when there isn’t summer camp going on.
