Any tent campgrounds in Estes Park or Grand Lakes that have fishing on site?
Going on vacation this month to Estes Park/Grand Lakes area…I want to camp somewhere along a river or lake that we can fish on site. Does a campground like that exist?
Yes: on Lake Granby and along the Big Thompson River. But be aware of killer floods that can occur along the Big Thompson in some areas.
But your best bet for a great experience is to backpack into the Flattops Wilderness area and camp by a lake. You will have complete privacy and fantastic fishing combined.

Lived in Breckenrdge for 12 years, fished and hunted all over Colorado. There are some gorgeous places to fish and camp if you are willing and able to walk into them.
