I’m going to Astoria, Washington in March. What fishing opportunities will be best that that time of year?

Posted by : admin

I’d be into any type of fishing, guided or not, I just dont know much about the area or what is good that time of year.

Well, first of all, Astoria is in Oregon, NOT Washington.

Plan on LOTS and LOTS of rain in March!!!!

Astoria is in Oregan, its right on the boarder.
Right across the Columbia in Ilwaco I know that there are boats that go out on guided tours, just go down to the docks.

March is a good time for sturgeon fishing.
I beleive there is still Salmon fishing.
