How do you clean roller guides on fishing rods?

Posted by : admin

Good tips here. WD 40 is going to break up / free up stuck ones and then leave a little oil behind.

Salt-x is very good to get the salt off.

Pipe cleaners help. And a bit of string to run back and forth to get them to spin.

Loosen the screw until they spin not letting them get loose enough to come apart ever. Like while fighting a fish.

Firstly i loosen it then add a small amount of 3 in 1 oil, its thick and lasts a long time but WD-40 also works.
