What are good bass fishing lakes in Wisconsin?

I’m trying to search out the best bass(preferably Largemouth) fishing lakes in Manitowoc County and the counties surrounding it. I hear a lot of lakes here have winterkill, and I’ve been to a few that don’t have much action. Any help would be appreciated.

Where could I find a nice smaller community in Louisiana, close to lakes for fishing,and cheap land for sale?

My husband and I are wanting to move to Louisiana, We would like a small town or small town feel. Close to lots of Water or lakes, with land to buy that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!?!? Any suggestions are helpful!

i wuz lookin for some fishing lakes in Tuscaloosa or Tuscaloosa County, AL…..nice bass, sunfish population…I would really appreciate a walleye lake..I need to know how to access the lake also. Thanks

Man, I’ve been looking too. Most everyone goes down to lock 8 in Akron. It’s been dead lately on Holt and as you know, Lake Tuscaloosa stinks. I guess I’ll keep trying to find that magic place.

has anyone ever fished at the lakes at the holiday park at burnham-on-sea ?
we are going for a weekend and my husband has noticed that it has its own fishing lakes, he is thinking of taking his fishing stuff but doesn’t know if it will be any good.
sometimes you find that these holiday park lakes have no fish but maybe this one is not too bad.

At Burnham-on-Sea there are two large lakes.

Both of the Lakes are well stocked and you could catch a fish weighing up to 35lb. Fish include Roach, Bream, Carp and Rudd.

In order to fish on the lakes you do require a Current Rod Licence which you are able to obtain from the local Post Office.

What should I use to attract baitfish for bass fishing in freshwater lakes?

I would not be concerned about drawing them to you. I would look for cover i.e rocks, stumps, weeds, and any other location that could hold bait fish. These are areas bass and other game fish are naturally attracted to so you will get better results looking for the bait instead of bringing it to you. If you have a lake with no obvious cover try asking for a depth hart of the lake you are fishing looking for drop offs and steep rises because these can also hold bait fish.

Lake Arrow Head,Big Bear Lake,Jenks Lake most any of the High Lakes in the San Bernardino Mountains.There is some real good stream fishing in those mountains and the San Gabriels too.

well Im going to go to a lake but I dont know what kind of bait to use. Or what kind of bait to use to catch minnows

To catch minnows, use small hooks with bread on them. If you are going to a lake for just general fishing… just use night crawlers. These worms will catch pretty much anything, so try em out. You can also use corn (for trout, landlocked salmon, catfish) or hot dogs (for catfish or any other bottom feeders). I would suggest mainly just worms and corn for a beginner. Good luck out there.
